The company changes its legal name from Synex Consulting to Synex and introduces ICCS which stands for In-Country Caretaker Service.

On April 1st 2002, Young Kim founds Synex Consulting and begins consulting services on approval and reimbursement of medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
